These terms cover your use of Groomies by Fetch It (“Groomies”, “we”), run by Fetch It. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Groomies.

1. What Groomies is

Groomies is a marketplace that connects dog parents with independent grooming salons (“Salons”). We provide the booking software. The grooming itself is provided by the Salon, which is solely responsible for its services, staff, premises, pricing and conduct.

2. Accounts

  • You must be 18 or older and give accurate details. One person, one account.
  • You’re responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@groomiesbyfetchit.com if you think it has been misused.
  • We may suspend accounts that break these terms, abuse other users, or attempt fraud (including fake referrals).

3. Booking a groom (dog parents)

  • A booking request holds the slot until the Salon confirms, declines, or the reply window runs out.
  • Groomies doesn’t charge dog parents a booking fee. You pay the salon’s listed price — at the salon, or online where the salon offers it. Online payments are held until after your groom and refunded as set out in our Refund & cancellation policy.
  • Prices shown are set by the Salon and depend on your dog’s size.
  • Give the Salon honest information about your dog’s size, health and temperament. A Salon may refuse service if it’s unsafe for the dog or staff.
  • Reviews must reflect a real visit and must not be abusive, misleading or include personal information about others.

4. Listing a salon (businesses)

  • We review every Salon before it goes live and may reject or suspend listings at our discretion.
  • Onboarding is free for the first 100 Salons. Salons are bound by the Salon Partner Agreement, which sets out commission (15% on Groomies customers, 5% on the salon’s own customers, 10% founding rate, plus GST), billing, payouts and the referral program.
  • Salons must honour confirmed bookings, keep hours and prices accurate, hold any licences required by law, and treat every dog with care.
  • Owners may give managers access; owners are responsible for what their managers do.

5. Fees can change

We may change commission, salon fees or the referral reward. We’ll give Salons at least 15 days’ notice; changes never apply to bookings already made.

6. Liability

Groomies is not a party to the grooming service and isn’t liable for injury, loss or damage arising from it — claims about a groom are between the parent and the Salon, though we’ll help where we can. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid Groomies in the 3 months before the claim.

7. Content

You keep ownership of photos and text you upload and give us a licence to show them on Groomies and in our marketing of your listing. Don’t upload anything you don’t have rights to.

8. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.
