This explains what Groomies by Fetch It collects, why, and what you can do about it. It follows India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account: name, email, phone, city, profile photo (if you add one).
• Dogs: name, breed, size, birthday, coat, temperament, notes and photos you add.
• Bookings: salon, service, time, notes, status, reviews.
• Salons: business details, hours, prices, photos, team members’ emails.
• Payments: payment and refund references from Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank login.
• Device: push-notification tokens if you turn them on, and basic logs needed to keep the service secure.

Why we use it

• To run bookings: showing slots, sending requests to salons, confirmations, reminders and refunds.
• To bill salons (commission, referral credits) and prevent fraud.
• To improve Groomies. We don’t sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Who sees it

• The salon you book with sees your name, phone, your dog’s profile and your booking notes.
• Service providers who run parts of Groomies for us: Supabase (database and login), Razorpay (payments), Google (sign-in and email delivery), Vercel (hosting).
• Authorities when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open, and afterwards only as long as needed for tax, accounting or legal reasons (usually up to 8 years for financial records).

Your rights

You can view and edit most of your data in the app. To get a copy, correct something, or delete your account, email support@groomiesbyfetchit.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
